Laoshan Scenic Area Develops "Meteorology + Culture and Tourism" Brand, Transforming Meteorological Resources into Beautiful Landscapes On July 31, the China Meteorological Service Association, Qingdao Meteorological Bureau, and Qingdao Laoshan Scenic Area Administrative Bureau signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement at the Laoshan Cultural Exhibition Center to promote the high-quality integration of "meteorology + culture and tourism". In recent years, Laoshan Scenic Area has collaborated closely with the Laoshan Meteorological Bureau and the Ocean University of China to advance this integration. Since being awarded the title of one of the first "China Natural Oxygen Bars" in 2016, Laoshan Scenic Area has twice been recognized for its "The Spectacular Coastal Cloud Sea at Jufeng" and "Laoshan Autumn Leaves" as the "Weather and Climate Landscapes Viewing Sites". 3. Club Med China CEO: China Will Become the Largest Source Market as Soon as Next Year Club Med, the global leisure resort chain, recently opened a new resort near Chengdu, marking its first venture into southwestern China. Despite the severe impact of the pandemic on tourism, Club Med has opened six resorts in mainland China over the past three years, expanding faster than in its headquarters location, France. "We expect the Chinese market to surpass France and become Club Med's largest global source market by around 2025 or 2026," said Club Med China CEO Xu Bingbin. This growth is driven by faster resort development in China and the gradual recovery of outbound and inbound tourism. 4. Overseas Chinese Town Group Hotels Create Extraordinary Travel Experiences As summer heats up, the Overseas Chinese Town Group's 2024 Tourism Carnival continues to gain momentum. Grand Opening of "Yi Fan Hao Shi" Food Street at Colorful Guizhou On July 28, accompanied by the performance of "Sheng Sheng Bu Xi" Guizhou Lusheng and Acapella, the "Yi Fan Hao Shi (A Good Market)" food street officially opened at Colorful Guizhou City. This marks the grand re-opening of the area, meticulously crafted by Guizhou Tourism Investment Holding (Group) Co., Ltd. The food street, one of the three main functional areas of the "Colorful World" project, has Guizhou's largest seafood plaza, "Guizhou Ocean No. 1", and the "Qianshan Baiwei Snack Gathering" with many flavor snacks from all nine cities and prefectures in the province.
