Census Update: 9/15/2020 We only have 15 days for the Census deadline to file. As you know we have a friendly contest with our friends in DeSoto County. Both Administrators have agreed to treat the loser to a meal with all the trimmings with their personal funds. The statistics could not be closer: Desoto is at 71.5 and Madison is at 71.3 -- a percentage that represents the number in each county of those who have completed the Census. Please go to www.2020census.gov -- it will take 5 minutes to answer a few questions, it is confidential and is the law. You will be amazed how quickly the process will be.
