Denton has officially been crowned the Halloween Capital of Texas, and we’re ready to celebrate in record-breaking style! Join us for the Texas Thriller Takeover, happening right after Boo at the U. We’ll attempt to break the current Texas record of 881 people dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” at the same time. All ages welcome! 📍 Where: Pioneer Circle (outside Margo Jones Performance Hall) 1100 Oakland St., Denton, TX 76201 🕗 When: 8:00 PM – Check-In & wristband pick-up (all participants receive a commemorative wristband) 8:15 PM – Dance instruction 8:30 PM – Record-breaking Thriller dance This one-of-a-kind event also serves as a sneak peek into TWU Musical Theater’s upcoming production of Zombie Prom (https://events.twu.edu/event/musical-zombie-prom-twu).
