Sometimes I sit here, look around, and think about the days when I truly didn’t believe I’d have the life I do now. There was a time I never thought I’d make it to 27 (let alone 18). I never imagined I’d have a husband who loves me so deeply, a child who lights up my world, or a space that feels safe and mine. It’s surreal to see how far I’ve come—especially as someone living with C-PTSD. This room isn’t just shelves and books. It’s a reminder that healing is possible, and that there’s beauty on the other side of the hardest days. 💖
